Can the College Football regular season really be over already? Who’s excited for a trip to San Diego or Las Vegas less than a week before Christmas? The Utes get Navy in a battle of 8-4 teams.  I will be chatting with a Navy beatwriter on my show today. Here’s what you need to know about Navy, they run the ball like nobody’s business. In fact, they are the best running team in college football at more than 350 yards per game. The players to keep an eye on for the Midshipmen is QB Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada and WR/Returnman Reggie Campbell. Head Coach Paul Johnson has been outstanding in his tenure in Annapolis. It’s a match up on two 8-4 teams in the 1st Bowl of the Season on December 20th.

I can’t imagine that BYU fans are “fired up” about a rematch with a lousy UCLA team. BYU may have lost to the Bruins back in September, but these two teams have gone in opposite directiions since. BYU is the best non-BCS team out there, this side of Hawaii and UCLA may very well be the worst Big Conference team to be playing in a bowl game this season. In fact, they may not even have a Head Coach in Las Vegas…

On to the BCS...What an absolute debacle this has become. In years gone by at least we got the best 2 teams playing for the National Title,but this year we aren’t even sure we are getting that. Who can tell the best 2 teams in College Football are? LSU and The Ohio State??? Georgia and USC?? Missouri, oh wait they didn’t even get into the BCS...The system is a joke and the bigger joke are the defenders of said system!

Here is how the BCS Should have Played out in a perfect world…

Fiesta Bowl-Kansas (11-1) and Hawaii (12-0)

Orange Bowl-Virginia Tech (11-2) and Missouri (11-2)

Sugar Bowl-LSU (11-2) and West Virginia (10-2)

Rose Bowl- Georgia (10-2) and Ohio State (11-1)

BCS Title Game- USC (10-2) and Oklahoma (11-2)--These are the best 2 teams in College Football right now!
