After successfully moving the ball out from their own 2 yard line, primarily on the legs of Darrell Mack, the Utes stall their drive at midfield and Louie Sakoda punts the ball into the end zone. With 1:07 to play in the first quarter it’s still scoreless here in SD. Why Utah got away from the running game on that drive is beyond me. Mack and Stowers were gashing the Navy defense for 4 and 5 yards per carry. Brian Johnson had Freddie Brown open for a TD at the Goal line, but the problem is that Brown quit running his route and the ball sailed just out of his reach....We saw Corbin Louks a couple of times on that drive, all runs. At some point Ludwig is going to have to let Louks throw the ball....
