A little Soccer Talk on a Thursday

It may be December but things are busy on the RSL Front. On Monday the team placed the final piece of steel in the stadium framing. Now it’s on to team roster issues. Monday afternoon MLS held it’s “Discovery Draft” for players who play abroad. RSL landed most of all of it’s desired personel in the draft. Negoications have begun with several players. Real Front Office staff spent a good deal of time in Argentina and Germany scouting both foreign and Americans playing abroad. I believe that RSL will look to fill at least 3 foreign spots on the roster and have looked hard at an American Player who is playing abroad. Now of course there is the question of timing. In speaking with GM Garth Lagerwey, he would simply say that talks have begun with several players. So stay tuned to this Blog and to my show daily for updates on the RSL roster and potential roster additions and subtractions!!
